Bigger and more beautiful full color e-paper digital advertising billboard PPDS with E Ink Spectra™6

Global electronic paper leader E Ink Yuan Tai Technology recently announced that full-color electronic paper technology E Ink Spectra™6 Get customer PPDS (Philips Professional Displays) adoption. PPDS has introduced 32 models (16:9) and E Ink Spectra in a series of product Tableaux that have won many awards from all walks of life.™6 of the new electronic paper advertising billboard Philips Tableaux 5150I.
E Ink Spectra™6 is the color electronic paper technology first released by Yuantai Technology at the Touch Taiwan Intelligent Display Exhibition in April this year. This revolutionary color electronic paper is suitable for store billboards or to replace any paper poster billboard, because it provides unprecedented color saturation and vividness of reflective displays, and can match the most advanced paper color printers on the market today.
Digital transformation has accelerated retailers' decision to adopt digital billboards, and given the energy sustainability and ESG initiatives, Yuantai's e-paper has the characteristics of transformable images, visible in the sun, and ultra-low power consumption, and can be driven by a solar power supply system, making e-paper an environmentally friendly and sustainable display technology.

The electronic paper advertising billboard launched by PPDS will be officially released in Europe in late November and will make its debut at the Barcelona European Integrated Systems Exhibition (ISE) from January 30 to February 2, 2024, which will make PPDS the first to adopt the 31.5-inch E Ink Spectra.™6 Technology partners in the introduction of commercial mass production products. The Philips Tableaux 5150I can be used as a stand-alone solution, or it can be linked to monitors in multiple locations around the world as a member of a group. It can be managed manually, or it can use third-party or PPDS built-in software to remotely replace the screen.
E Ink Yuantai Technology compares the impact of using paper, LCD screen and electronic paper screen billboards on carbon dioxide emissions. If 100000 electronic paper billboards are used, each electronic paper billboard will run 20 hours a day, update advertisements 20 times per hour, and continue to use for 5 years. Using electronic paper billboards can reduce CO2 emissions by about 500000 tons compared with LCD billboards. If compared with traditional paper promotional posters abandoned at one time, more can reduce about 21 million tons of CO2 emissions. The use of electronic paper billboards allows retailers and advertisers to achieve real-time screen updates while taking into account the sustainability goals.
Because E Ink electronic paper has a "bistable" characteristics, 32-inch Tableaux5150I can display static images without consuming power, and only use a small amount of power when updating content. For stationary installations and environments where images need to be replaced regularly, the Philips Tableaux 5150I provides PoE (Power over Ethernet) functionality to ensure power and networking for remote management.
PPDS will announce the product details and pricing of this color electronic paper billboard in early 2024 and plans to display it at the European Integrated Systems Exhibition (ISE) in Barcelona and Info Comm in Las Vegas.
